Chief Flight Instructor:

Flight school offering fixed wing and rotorcraft flight training seeks a highly motivated individual who works well in a team environment and can help us service our growing list of customers and students. The Chief Flight Instructor position requires an exceptional candidate possessing good decision-making skills, a commitment to safety, following BAS standard operating procedures, flexibility, excellent communication skills, and a dedication to the art of teaching well.

Duties: Oversee and Manage all aspects of the flight school, including:

  • Hiring, standardizing, and supervising flight instructors
  • Ground, Simulator, and Flight training of own students, check-ride preparation, and ground training as required
  • Manage and coordinate the development of all pilot training curricula and associated training materials
  • Marketing, answering phones, maintenance tracking of flight school aircraft
  • Representing Flight School at local or regional trade shows
  • Administer TSA approved and audited Flight School Security Awareness training for all employees with direct access to students


  • Successful applicants must have a Airplane Single Engine CFI certificate (CFI-I strongly preferred)
  • Second Class Medical
  • 80% pass rate
  • Ability to pass BAS’s initial, random, and ongoing drug and alcohol testing program
  • Impeccable and verifiable safety record
  • Experience with both Part 61 and 141 operations

    Line Technician:

    Full time and Part time positions available. Applicants should be self-motivated, possess common sense and have strong initiative. Legible penmanship and basic math skills are a must. Responsibilities include; park and greet all arriving aircraft, marshal all aircraft arriving/departing ramp area, assist passengers and/or crew with baggage/cargo as needed, provide lavatory and water service as requested, fuel aircraft as requested, safely operate fuel trucks, aircraft tugs, lav cart, GPU, de-ice cart. Assist with customer service duties as required, general upkeep of equipment and facilities, assist with general cleaning and clearing of debris from ramp, building and customer areas, assist with wing-walking duties as required, perform other duties as assigned.

    Requirements: Must possess strong interpersonal and verbal skills. Must be able to work in various weather conditions such as snow, sleet, rain and hot/cold temperatures.
    High school diploma or GED, excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills, must possess a valid state driver’s license. Experience in customer service a definite plus.

    Ground Support/Customer Service Representative: Part Time Position

    SUMMARY: Performs airline ticketing counter, gate service, aircraft ground handling services including; ramp, baggage, ground operations, aircraft cleaning, security, and operations for airline customers.


    • Ensures a safe work environment by following all rules and regulations regarding the work place.
    • Provide frontline customer service to passengers including ticket sales, check in and boarding procedures.
    • Answers customers’ inquiries regarding flight schedules, fares, and other questions that may arise and make announcements regarding flight activity over airport’s general PA system.
    • Load and unload baggage, marshal in and push back aircraft, operate ground equipment and work outdoors in all types of weather conditions.
    • Ability to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced and at times stressful environment.
    • Other duties as assigned


    • Must be at least 18 years of age.
    • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
    • Must possess at least a High school diploma, GED or work experience equivalent.
    • Must be able to pass a drug test.
    • Must possess a valid driver’s license.
    • Must be safety conscious.
    • Customer Service experience a definite plus.


    • Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds.
    • Must be able to stand, lift, bend, push and pull for an extended time.
    • Must be willing to work in all types of elevated noise levels within the airport environment.


    • Computer skills required.
    • Must be able to pass a drug screen, background check and be able to obtain airport security clearance.


    • Specific shifts to be determined/10-15 hours per week/May-Aug
    • Must be able to work extended hours on short notice during non-routine operations
